Some storage is lost from having the walkway, but there is no compartment to step over. It is hard to satisfy everyone so AB offers 4 different 12 foot boats: The 12 ALX (aluminum), the 12 VSX, the 12 VST and the 12 Deluxe. There has to be a model just right for you!
