We have installed drop in steering consoles for many years.  There are  three  main users of these configurations.

1. Boaters with 500 # hanging davit limits. This boat comes in at just under 500 # with a 20 hp Mercury, electric start.  
2. Boaters who want as much leg room as possible and still have a steering console.  Compare the room on this boat with one with a fiberglass console.
3. Boaters who want to spend more time in the dinghy.  It’s a lot more enjoyable spending the afternoon in a dinghy with a steering wheel than driving a tiller driven boat.  And she might be a lot more willing to take this boat out by  herself than she would with a tiller controlled boat.
4. New bimini top option available for $495.00

This boat is not as pretty as one with a fiberglass console, but it has more room and is lighter and is less expensive!!!
